About the role

Our client, Leicestershire County Council, is establishing a dedicated Duty Team within Adult Social Care. This temporary, up‑to‑12‑month position focuses on triage, risk assessment and sign‑posting for adults across the Charnwood area.

Key responsibilities

Deliver a specialist duty function separate from community case‑management teams.
Conduct triage, risk assessments and make threshold decisions.
Provide sign‑posting and advice to service users and professionals.
Cover the Charnwood area, working with older adults, adults with learning, physical or mental health needs.
Operate primarily from the County Hall office (LE3 8RA).

Required profile

Qualified Social Worker, fully registered with Social Work England.
Significant post‑qualified experience in adult social care.
Ability to travel to the Charnwood area and attend the office most of the week.

Required skills

What we offer

£34 per hour on an umbrella contract.
Fixed‑term placement of up to 12 months.
£250 joining bonus for new starters.
£300 referral bonus for successful placements.
Predominantly office‑based work environment.
