Software Engineer – Build Core Platform at Stealth Neoservices Firm

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the early team of a stealth‑mode neoservices firm in London. You will help build the core platform from the ground up, working closely with founders and early customers to turn operational challenges into software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop the first version of the company’s core platform and internal tools.
• Work across the full stack, from product features to backend systems and data workflows.
• Translate real operational problems into simple, useful software.
• Collaborate with founders, operators and customers to define requirements.
• Shape early architecture, engineering standards and product direction.
• Explore automation, AI and data opportunities to improve traditional service businesses.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of software engineering experience in a startup, scale‑up or high‑ownership environment.
• Full‑stack or backend‑leaning background with a strong product instinct.
• Experience building products or systems from an early stage.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast‑changing environments and with non‑technical teams.
• Curious about how businesses operate and eager to work on greenfield projects.
