Software Engineer – Glasgow or Edinburgh

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Software & Platform Engineering team, working from either Glasgow or Edinburgh. The role involves delivering end‑to‑end product engineering solutions for a variety of public and private sector clients across the UK, with occasional travel to client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to design, develop, and deploy digital products.
• Apply engineering best practices to ensure high‑quality, low‑complexity solutions.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers while contributing hands‑on code.

Required profile

• Willingness to travel ad‑hoc to client sites throughout the UK.
• Ability to obtain BPSS and SC security clearance (requires 5 years continuous UK address history).
