Software Engineer – Real‑time Systems & AI Platform

About the role

Quantcast is looking for a Software Engineer to join its London engineering team building real‑time distributed systems, audience modelling and AI infrastructure for its Demand Side Platform. You will work on core components that power large‑scale advertising technology and help shape the future of digital ads.

Key responsibilities

• Write code, design systems and build proof‑of‑concepts to improve the tech stack.
• Participate in the full software‑engineering lifecycle from conception through design, implementation and operation.
• Maintain system health, reliability and monitoring, including on‑call duties.
• Collaborate with product, modelling and platform teams to deliver high‑quality software.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of professional software engineering experience (new graduates welcome).
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong foundation in computer‑science fundamentals such as algorithms, data structures and system design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Java or Python (or similar languages).
• Understanding of distributed systems and large‑scale data infrastructure.
• Experience with system design and performance optimisation.
