Solutions Engineer – UK Expansion

About the role

We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to drive Partly’s expansion across the UK and the Nordics. You will act as the technical bridge between sales, product and engineering, turning complex automotive data challenges into signed pilots that showcase our AI‑powered repair platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end technical path from first conversation to a signed pilot, scoping integrations and mapping parts‑estimation workflows.
• Build and debug integrations (e.g., CABAS estimating) and create custom interfaces for demos and test environments.
• Develop market‑specific demos and portal prototypes that illustrate the capabilities of the Interpreter model.
• Produce Technical Readiness Assessments that document customer systems and pilot requirements.
• Translate recurring deal blockers into product requirements and work with engineering to shape market‑specific features.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product and Engineering to meet deadlines and keep deals moving forward.

Required profile

• Strong technical problem‑solver who can break ambiguous, messy data problems into reusable solutions.
• Commercially minded with the ability to build business cases, calculators and reporting that demonstrate value.
• Excellent communicator who can translate customer needs to internal teams and build rapport with prospects.
• Self‑directed and high‑ownership, comfortable being the sole solutions person in a new market.

Required skills

• SQL
• Code debugging and ability to read a codebase independently
• Building integrations with external data formats
• Creating demos or prototypes without waiting on core engineering
