Spa Attendant

About the role

Jumeirah Carlton Tower, a luxury Knightsbridge hotel with a rooftop spa and health club, is looking for a Spa Attendant. The role covers the day-to-day running of the spa areas and the guest experience, in line with Talise standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and set up the daily operations of the male and female spa according to Talise standards, keeping all spa areas running smoothly.
• Greet guests on arrival and provide prompt, courteous and accurate service throughout their visit.
• Replenish items promptly and maintain inventory by requesting and collecting stock and supplies at minimum levels.
• Keep the spa clean and well maintained, including water maintenance, treatment rooms, equipment and locker rooms.
• Handle guest complaints, record guest comments and report breakage, damage or loss to supervisors.
• Assist therapists and practitioners in preparing for treatments or baths, and report equipment deficiencies.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a spa environment or the wider hospitality industry.
• High school education; first aid and health and safety certifications are desirable.
• Strong relationships with colleagues, management, guests and visitors.
• Problem-solving, leadership, creativity, project management and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office.
