Specialist – Client Processing Oversight (Transfer Agency)

About the role

BNY is looking for a Specialist to join its UK Transfer Agency team in Manchester. You will oversee operational processing activities, ensuring client service standards are met or exceeded while supporting the delivery of transaction processing, payments, reconciliations and related services.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee work performed in operational processing centres for Transfer Agency activities.
• Investigate and resolve day‑to‑day operational queries, incidents and issues.
• Analyze performance data to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure processing complies with regulatory requirements such as CASS, COLL, COBS, DISP, GDPR and Consumer Duty.
• Develop and maintain procedures, guidelines and checklists for Transfer Agency operations.

Required profile

• Combination of education, training and experience that enables performance of the responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree is beneficial but not mandatory.
• 3‑5 years of experience in financial services operations or client services preferred; candidates with less experience may be considered.
• Willingness to develop personal skills in AI and digital tools.
