Specialist Hygiene Service Technician – Haydock

About the role

Rentokil is looking for a Specialist Hygiene Service Technician to join its Haydock branch, covering Liverpool, Chester, Wirral and surrounding areas. You will deliver a wide range of hygiene and specialised cleaning services directly to customers, managing your own schedule and solving unique on‑site challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Provide biohazard, infection‑control, flood‑water, and crime‑scene cleaning services.
• Carry out specialist tasks such as sharps removal, high‑level cleaning, factory and silo cleaning.
• Work reactively in a fast‑paced environment, adapting to changing weekly priorities.
• Participate in an on‑call rota to ensure rapid response to customer needs.
• Offer expert advice and maintain a professional image at all times.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence held for at least two years (≤ 6 penalty points).
• Self‑motivated, reliable and proactive with excellent customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work varied patterns and support business demands.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check where required.
