About the role
Our client, a specialist private finance firm, is seeking a Specialist Lending Paraplanner to work on complex bridging and development finance transactions. The role is based in London with a hybrid working model and focuses on the technical side of deal structuring and market research.
Key responsibilities
- Structure bridging and development finance deals and conduct in‑depth lender market research.
- Approach lenders for terms, manage relationships and secure indicative offers.
- Run deals from initial enquiry through appraisal, feasibility and GDV analysis.
- Review documentation and underwriting cases, ensuring robust credit narratives.
- Perform EBITDA analysis and assess borrowing capacity for healthcare and business finance cases.
Required profile
- Proven experience in bridging and/or development finance.
- Strong credit and underwriting instincts.
- Extensive knowledge of the UK lender market.
- Confidence with EBITDA and commercial analysis.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
