Specialist One-to-One Study Skills Tutor – £28/hr (Part‑time)

About the role
Join Randstad Student Support as a Specialist One-to-One Study Skills Tutor, providing tailored academic guidance to university students with specific learning difficulties. This part‑time, flexible position starts in September 2026 and offers a supportive environment to help students thrive.
Key responsibilities
- Develop individual learning plans that promote independence and build on each student’s strengths.
- Teach strategies for organisation, time‑management and effective study habits.
- Create action plans to keep students on track with their coursework.
- Enhance research skills, including source evaluation and proper referencing.
- Improve reading and writing comprehension through targeted exercises.
Required profile
- Undergraduate degree (Level 6) minimum.
- Relevant professional membership as defined by the DfE.
- Experience supporting students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) or dyslexia.
- Strong confidentiality, punctuality, reliability and organisational abilities.
- Capacity to manage a caseload of students effectively.
