Specialty Doctor – Orthogeriatrics

About the role

The Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking a Specialty Doctor in Orthogeriatric Medicine to deliver peri‑operative medical care for patients with femoral fractures. Working under the supervision of the Orthogeriatrics consultant, you will provide expert clinical assessment across several hospital sites.

Key responsibilities

• Provide peri‑operative medical management for patients with femoral fractures.
• Collaborate with the Orthogeriatrics consultant and multidisciplinary teams.
• Deliver care across multiple hospital locations, adapting to varying site requirements.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to patient safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified medical doctor with appropriate registration.
• Experience in orthogeriatric or related acute medical specialties.
• Ability to work flexibly across different hospital sites.
