Sports Coach – Community & School Programs

About the role
The LFC Foundation is seeking a Sports Coach to develop and deliver inclusive community and school sports programmes. You will work across schools, community settings and the Anfield Sports and Community Centre, supporting young people to experience new sports and progress through talent pathways.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality, inclusive sports sessions for schools and community groups.
- Create session plans that cater to beginners, talent‑identification pathways and under‑represented groups, including diverse and disabled participants.
- Provide CPD, mentoring and support to casual coaches, volunteers and mentees.
- Engage with local community leaders to promote sports offers and build partnerships.
- Complete session plans, risk assessments and accurate data entry for reporting to funders.
- Develop case studies, PR content and social‑media material in line with Foundation guidelines.
- Support other LFC Foundation projects, programmes and events as required.
Required profile
- Minimum Level 1 coaching qualification (or equivalent) in at least two sports.
- Experience delivering sports programmes in school settings.
- Proven ability to design inclusive session plans and curricula.
- Experience working with minority and under‑represented groups.
- Desirable: Level 2 coaching qualification (or equivalent) in one or more sports.
