Staff Nurse

About the role

Join Holmes Care Group as a Staff Nurse and lead a dedicated team caring for residents in a supportive care‑home environment. You will work up to 45 hours per week, with both part‑time and full‑time options available.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality nursing care and support to residents.
• Oversee medicine management and ensure safe medication administration in line with NMC standards.
• Create, implement and review individual treatment plans.
• Maintain compliance with legal, regulatory and best‑practice guidelines.
• Support the Service Manager in achieving care targets and supervise staff shifts.
• Mentor, guide and train junior team members.
• Collaborate with the Manager to ensure smooth operation of the home.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Relevant nursing qualification.
• Compassionate attitude with a clear understanding of professional boundaries.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in residential nursing care.
