Staff Nurse – Medical/Surgical (London)

About the role

We are recruiting a Staff Nurse to join the Medical/Surgical team at Cleveland Clinic London, a brand‑new high‑acuity environment equipped with the latest technology. The position is full‑time permanent, 37.5 hours per week, with rotating day, night and weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver patient care using an appropriate nursing model.
• Provide advice and education to patients, staff and learners.
• Develop communication networks across specialties and the multidisciplinary team.
• Prioritise tasks effectively, including supervising learners and healthcare assistants.
• Administer patient medication safely, including intravenous drugs, in line with policy.

Required profile

• Nursing Bachelor’s Degree (essential).
• Current NMC registration with no practice restrictions.
• Experience in cardiology, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery and digestive diseases.
• Broad acute‑care experience across cardiac, cardiothoracic, renal and gastrointestinal surgery.

• Intravenous medication administration.
• Advanced endoscopy techniques.
• Laparoscopic surgery procedures.
