Stockroom Manager – Central London

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Stockroom Manager to lead the back‑of‑house operations of a busy retail store in central London. You will ensure that stock moves smoothly from delivery to the shop floor, supporting an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the stockroom team to maintain high operational standards.
• Manage all deliveries, processing stock accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a safe, organised and compliant stockroom environment.
• Drive replenishment to keep the sales floor fully stocked during trading hours.
• Monitor stock accuracy, investigate discrepancies and oversee movements, transfers and returns.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager and senior team on commercial priorities and key trading periods.
• Ensure health and safety standards are upheld.
• Analyse performance data and identify productivity improvements.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and training of stockroom staff.

Required profile

• Previous experience managing a stockroom or back‑of‑house operation in a high‑volume retail environment.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Hands‑on approach with the ability to work quickly while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and confidence to work collaboratively across departments.
