Store Assistant – Toolstation, Crawley

About the role

Toolstation, part of the Travis Perkins group, is hiring a Store Assistant for its Crawley store, working 16 hours per week on a permanent part-time basis. The store is open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so early starts and late finishes are required. Candidates should live locally and be able to commute easily. No retail experience is needed, as training is provided.

Key responsibilities

• Handle deliveries, unpack stock, keep the store clean and prepare orders
• Provide friendly, efficient customer service and help customers find what they need for their projects
• Sell the benefits of Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts and sign customers up
• Be proactive and show a positive attitude, with hard work valued more than experience

Required profile

• Lives locally and can commute to the store
• Reliable, flexible and committed to supporting customers and colleagues
• A warm, friendly personality and a willingness to learn
