Store Manager

About the role

The Store Manager will lead the Merrell retail outlet in the Cotswolds, driving sales performance and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will be responsible for all aspects of store operations, from team development to financial results, while embodying the brand’s values.

Key responsibilities

• Motivate and engage the team, fostering an inclusive and positive work environment.
• Own sales, profit and cost targets, managing payroll, P&L and KPIs.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and act as a role model for the team.
• Communicate effectively on the shop floor and behind the scenes, building relationships with customers and community partners.
• Ensure policies, health & safety, security and stock procedures are understood and applied.
• Identify innovative ways to increase customer loyalty and strengthen the brand locally.
• Oversee stock placement, inventory flow and change‑management initiatives.
• Create memorable in‑store experiences that leave a lasting impression.
