Strategy and Business Consultant – 6‑month Contract

About the role

NatWest is seeking experienced Strategy and Business Consultants on a six‑month fixed‑term contract to support the delivery of its revenue synergy programme following the acquisition of Evelyn Partners. Based in London and working in a hybrid model, you will join strategic workstreams that drive commercial value and client outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide independent challenge to workstream plans, delivery roadmaps and assumptions to maximise value creation.
• Identify, manage and escalate delivery risks, dependencies, resource constraints and decision bottlenecks.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Wealth Management, Retail Banking, Finance and Transformation to ensure alignment and execution.
• Identify opportunities to accelerate revenue delivery and enhance commercial outcomes.
• Support development of business cases, KPIs, value tracking and financial benefit estimates.
• Collaborate with Finance to monitor performance against financial targets and revenue commitments.
• Prepare high‑quality governance materials, executive updates and decision papers for senior leadership.
• Ensure delivery remains focused on client outcomes, commercial priorities and transition to business‑as‑usual operations.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, business transformation, wealth‑management product leadership or comparable strategic roles.
• Proven experience delivering complex, cross‑functional programmes.
• Strong ability to work with senior stakeholders and influence decision‑making.
