Streetworks Administrator

About the role

As a Streetworks Administrator you will support the Operational Support team, ensuring that streetworks are programmed correctly by handling notices, permits and council communications. You will help minimise non‑compliance risk and contribute to continuous improvement of streetworks performance.

Key responsibilities

• Understand the works system and follow established processes.
• Maintain timely and accurate input and uploading of information into works management systems, recording and escalating issues.
• Learn and use the Street Manager system (training provided).
• Drive continual improvements in Streetworks performance with operational teams.
• Liaise with supervisors and sub‑contract teams to deliver programmes meeting client and operational requirements.
• Open and close work notices/permits, submit final registrations, identify issues early and escalate compliance matters.
• Communicate with local authorities and client representatives.
• Analyse and respond to Section 74 charges and fixed‑penalty offences.
• Run and circulate daily jeopardy reports as required.
• Monitor and chase outstanding issues.
• Provide innovative solutions and embrace change.
• Report safety issues according to company procedures.
• Log and track waste transfer notes.

Required profile

• Streetworks experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in an organised manner and meet important deadlines.
• Exceptional organisational abilities.
• Effective communication under pressure.
• Previous administrative experience.
• Proficient IT skills in Microsoft Office.
