Subsidence Claims Technician (Remote)

About the role

Sedgwick is hiring a Subsidence Claims Technician for its Subsidence Services Division, a permanent remote position in the United Kingdom. You will manage a portfolio of complex and large subsidence claims and act as the focal point for clients, guiding them through the claims process from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex and large subsidence claims
• Act as the main contact for clients, explaining complex details clearly and negotiating fair settlements
• Communicate with policyholders, insurers and contractors
• Handle claims with empathy and professionalism, making decisions based on the facts and on each claim's individual merits

Required profile

• Previous experience in a claims environment is essential
• Experience managing property claims
• Ability to work under pressure, solve problems and adapt to high volumes
• Strong communication skills
