Supply Teacher – Flexible School Cover

About the role
Reed Education is seeking qualified, enthusiastic teachers to provide day‑to‑day and long‑term cover for schools across Sussex during the 2023‑2024 academic year. You will work in a variety of settings, delivering high‑quality teaching in subjects such as Maths, English, Science, Humanities, PE, and Modern Foreign Languages.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver curriculum content and maintain lesson continuity in the assigned classroom.
- Manage student behaviour and uphold positive expectations.
- Communicate effectively with class teachers and senior leadership teams regarding progress and any issues.
- Adapt quickly to different school environments and schedules, covering at least three days per week.
Required profile
- Qualified teaching status (or equivalent) and a current DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Legal right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
- Flexibility to work across multiple schools and an open‑minded approach to daily school life.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
