Supply Teacher – Primary (Clacton-on-Sea)

About the role
Prospero Teaching is looking for reliable Primary Supply Teachers to cover day‑to‑day bookings across primary schools in Clacton‑on‑Sea and nearby coastal areas. This temporary position offers flexibility, variety and the chance to support different school communities on an as‑needed basis.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the planned curriculum for pupils across the primary age range.
- Maintain strong behaviour management and create a positive learning environment.
- Build quick rapport with pupils and staff in each school.
- Follow each school’s policies, including safeguarding procedures.
- Complete daily attendance and reporting requirements.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and primary teaching experience.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Two professional child‑related references.
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (desirable).
