Supply Teacher – Primary (Greenwich)

About the role
Academics is seeking qualified primary supply teachers for daily, short‑term and long‑term placements across Greenwich primary schools. This flexible role allows you to gain classroom experience while fitting teaching around your personal schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the planned curriculum for EYFS, KS1 or KS2 classes on a supply basis.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Adapt lesson plans quickly to meet the needs of each school and pupil group.
- Provide accurate end‑of‑day reports and feedback to the host school.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Recent experience teaching in a UK primary setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
- Professional, adaptable and positive attitude.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
