Supply Teacher – Primary (QTS Required) – Flexible Work

About the role

We are recruiting supply teachers to work across a range of primary and secondary schools in Portsmouth. The role offers excellent flexibility, allowing you to choose assignments that fit your schedule or take on consistent full‑time work. Typical school hours are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, with day‑to‑day and long‑term placements available.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons across a variety of subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Keep pupils engaged and on task throughout each lesson.
• Provide clear feedback to the school after each assignment.
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and age groups.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Recent experience teaching within UK schools.
• Strong behaviour management and classroom presence.
• Flexibility, reliability, and a professional attitude.
