Supply Teacher – Primary, Secondary & SEN (Taunton)

About the role
Prospero Teaching is looking for qualified supply teachers to provide cover across primary, secondary and SEN schools in Taunton and the wider Somerset area. You will work on day‑to‑day, short‑term or long‑term assignments, adapting quickly to each school’s environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver planned lessons and maintain curriculum continuity.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment.
- Follow each school’s policies, procedures and assessment standards.
- Provide accurate reporting on pupil progress and attendance.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong classroom management and adaptability.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
