Support Worker – Part‑time (24 hrs/week)

About the role

The Support Worker will work within one of Riverside’s supported services, helping customers rebuild their lives by linking them with employability coaches, benefits advice and housing pathways. You will provide practical assistance, boost confidence and maintain accurate records of all interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Connect customers with employability coaches, support agencies and other relevant services.
• Assist customers in managing finances, applying for benefits and progressing towards permanent accommodation.
• Maintain detailed records and complete necessary administrative tasks.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and may work alone when required.

Required profile

• Experience working with vulnerable people, preferably with coaching or engagement skills.
• Proven ability to deliver structured support and manage risk.
• Empathetic, resilient attitude and strong teamwork orientation.
• Willingness to work flexible, sometimes non‑standard hours and lone working situations.
