About the role

Join Zurich’s Energy Underwriting team for a 10‑week summer internship focused on sustainable energy. You will gain hands‑on experience in insurance, develop a solid foundation in risk assessment, claims, pricing and insurance frameworks, and work alongside a dedicated buddy for support.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Energy Underwriting team by analysing and assessing risks related to sustainable energy projects.
• Assist with claims handling, pricing models and development of insurance frameworks focused on renewable energy.
• Collaborate on a UK‑wide intern project, working with peers across the business to deliver a sustainability‑focused initiative.

Required profile

• Passion for sustainability and renewable energy.
• Indefinite right to work and reside in the UK, with at least three consecutive years of residence.
• Penultimate year of an undergraduate degree, predicted minimum 2:1 (or equivalent).
• At least 96 UCAS points (CCC) and GCSE grades A*–C (9–4) in Maths and English.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to pursue further professional qualifications.
