Talent Manager

About the role

The Talent Manager will act as a strategic partner to business leaders, driving workforce acceleration, talent management and performance frameworks. This role ensures the organisation has the right people, capabilities and motivation to meet current and future business needs in a fast‑moving financial services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Accelerate new‑hire productivity through structured onboarding and ramp‑up plans.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in resourcing, hiring and team scaling.
• Own the end‑to‑end talent management cycle, including succession planning and talent pipelines for critical roles.
• Partner with leaders to spot high‑potential employees and design development programmes.
• Drive performance management frameworks, coach managers on objectives, feedback and under‑performance.
• Promote a culture of continuous performance conversations.
• Analyse capability gaps, champion up‑skilling, reskilling and cross‑training initiatives.
• Use HR and workforce analytics to provide actionable insights and monitor impact of talent initiatives.
• Support organisational change linked to workforce and capability transformation.

Required profile

• Strategic HR partner with experience in talent and performance management.
• Proven ability to accelerate workforce capacity and drive data‑informed decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to influence senior leaders.
• Experience designing succession plans, development pathways and performance frameworks.
