About the role

Five Rivers Child Care is building River Valley School, a brand‑new therapeutic education provision opening in early 2026. We are seeking passionate teachers for Maths, English, Science, Humanities or PE to work with children and young people aged 6‑18 years in a trauma‑informed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke therapeutic educational frameworks tailored to each young person’s needs.
• Shape and deliver curriculum within your subject area.
• Contribute to the wider life and culture of the new school.

Required profile

• Registered with NQTS or QTS.
• Valid UK driving licence (essential).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Good written communication and IT proficiency.
• Strong communication skills with children, colleagues and external professionals.
• Ability to actively listen and build supportive relationships.
