About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support primary schools in the Edgbaston (B15) area of Birmingham. This short‑term, flexible position is ideal for individuals looking for daily assignments while gaining experience in a classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities.
• Create a positive, engaging atmosphere that encourages pupil participation.
• Provide tailored support for pupils with SEND, adapting resources as needed.
• Monitor student behaviour and progress, reporting observations to the designated teacher.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.

Required profile

• Enhanced DBS check (must be on the update service).
• Relevant qualifications or prior experience in a teaching support role.
• Willingness to undertake additional training as required.

Required skills

• Effective communication with children and staff.
• Ability to follow instructions and support lesson plans.

What we offer

• Daily rates between £92.56 and £100.
