Teaching Assistant – Primary & Secondary Schools (Havering)

About the role

We are partnering with primary and secondary schools in Havering, East London to recruit enthusiastic Teaching Assistants for both mainstream and SEN classrooms. This full‑time, fixed‑term position starts as soon as possible and offers a valuable opportunity to support pupils’ learning and development.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering lessons to groups and individual pupils.
• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support, especially for pupils with special educational needs.
• Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor pupil progress and report observations to teachers.

Required profile

• Experience working with children or young people (preferred but not mandatory).
• Positive, patient and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Genuine passion for supporting children’s learning.

Required skills

• Effective verbal communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
