Teaching Assistant – Year 2 (Full‑time, Fixed‑term)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a Year 2 class in a well‑rated primary school in West London. The role is full‑time during term time and offers the chance to develop your classroom support skills in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher with daily lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Support pupils individually and in small groups, reinforcing learning objectives.
• Prepare teaching resources, maintain attendance records and assist with assessments.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and help create a safe, inclusive learning space.

Required profile

• Minimum of one year Teaching Assistant experience in a UK primary school.
• Current safeguarding training completed within the last year.
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.
• Two professional references covering the last two years.
