Team Leader - Williams Ale and Cider House (Whitechapel)

About the role

Greene King is hiring a Team Leader for its Williams Ale and Cider House pub in Whitechapel. The role is part-time, permanent and scheduled for 30 hours per week, with pay of up to £14.25 per hour. The Team Leader leads by example, makes sure the team has what it needs so shifts run smoothly, keeps standards high and keeps customers happy.

Key responsibilities

• Depute for the management team and resolve issues that arise in their absence.
• Organise and coordinate the team during busy shifts so everything runs like clockwork.
• Keep the bar safe, legal and clean, dealing with any issues quickly and safely.
• Deliver a heartfelt and memorable experience for every customer.

Required profile

• A great eye for detail, making sure every pint is poured to perfection.
• Role model to the team on giving great service and welcoming every customer warmly.
• Ability to think on your feet and adapt to challenges during a busy shift.
• Positive, can-do attitude and a strong team spirit.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
