Technical Estimator – UPVC Windows & Doors

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Estimator to join a fast‑growing manufacturer of UPVC windows and doors. The role involves converting customer enquiries into accurate quotations using specialised fenestration software, while maintaining high levels of speed and precision.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate quotations for UPVC windows and doors using Window Designer software.
• Interpret customer drawings, specifications and measurements to create detailed quotes.
• Respond promptly to enquiries and issue quotations within agreed timescales.
• Enter profile options, glazing specifications, colours and hardware accurately.
• Liaise with customers to resolve technical queries and clarify specifications.
• Follow up quotations to maximise conversion opportunities.
• Maintain records in Microsoft Outlook and Excel and ensure all daily enquiries are completed before close of business.
• Collaborate with colleagues to uphold service levels and quotation accuracy.

Required profile

• Experience using Window Designer or similar fenestration software.
• Knowledge of UPVC windows and doors.
• Highly organised with strong time‑management skills.
• Ability to work in a high‑volume, fast‑paced office environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident communication with customers by phone and email.
