Technical Project Manager

About the role

Journi, a London‑based technology consultancy, is seeking a Technical Project Manager to coordinate and drive large‑scale IT programmes. The role focuses on structured, Waterfall‑based project management, using Gantt charts to plan, track and communicate progress.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate large IT projects using Waterfall methodologies, creating and maintaining Gantt charts, timelines, milestones and delivery schedules.
• Monitor project progress, identify delays, dependencies and risks, and communicate status and issues to stakeholders.
• Act as the central point of coordination between customers and internal teams, organising meetings, documenting decisions and ensuring clear next steps.
• Collaborate with Customer Success and Development Leads to align scope, commercial discussions and technical execution.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience managing IT projects, preferably large‑scale programmes with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Waterfall project management and hands‑on experience with Gantt‑chart planning.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Detail‑oriented approach to documentation, reporting and status updates.
