About the role
Barclays is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to design and deliver native authentication and identity features for its mobile banking app. You will work with the latest iOS technologies, biometric authentication, secure enclaves and AI‑assisted development tools to create seamless, secure experiences for millions of customers.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high‑quality iOS authentication components using Swift, UIKit and SwiftUI.
- Integrate identity and access management services via OAuth2/OIDC, REST APIs and Ping Identity SDK.
- Collaborate with backend engineers, security specialists and product designers to define requirements and ensure secure, performant solutions.
- Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and mobile DevOps practices for continuous delivery.
Required profile
- Proven senior‑level experience delivering complex native iOS applications.
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts, authentication protocols and secure mobile development.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment across Knutsford or London offices.
