Technical Sales Manager

About the role

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager with strong knowledge of insulation products, ideally from the HVAC or building services sector. Reporting to the UK Managing Director, you will lead the development of distributor and merchant channels for a multi‑million‑dollar insulation manufacturer across the United Kingdom.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales through national, regional and independent distributors.
• Maintain and strengthen distributor and merchant relationships.
• Deliver product training, technical support and sales enablement.
• Collaborate with partners on pricing, margins, promotions and stock profiles.
• Drive product awareness and generate demand.
• Promote the wider group portfolio, including HVAC and marine products.
• Monitor market feedback, competitor activity and provide forecasting and sales reporting.
• Build and maintain an effective network of contacts at all organisational levels.

Required profile

• Proven track record of success selling within the insulation, HVAC or building services markets.
• Experience managing distributor and merchant channels.
• Comfortable managing a UK‑wide territory and handling account management.
• Self‑driven, results‑oriented with a positive outlook.
