Technical Writer – Manufacturing (Factory‑Based)

About the role

We are seeking two Technical Writers to join our manufacturing team in Petersfield. The role is factory‑based, split between the production floor and a dedicated documentation area, and supports safe, compliant, and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Write and structure deviation investigations, root‑cause analyses and CAPA reports.
• Develop, review and maintain SOPs and work instructions for shop‑floor teams.
• Ensure all documentation meets GMP and GDP standards, including version control and traceability.
• Collaborate with Compounding, QA and Technical Support to provide clear, audit‑ready documentation and training support.

Required profile

• Experience as a Technical Writer or strong background in scientific report writing.
• Ability to produce SOPs, work instructions and technical reports.
• Science‑based degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• Understanding of GMP/GDP requirements and quality‑assurance processes.

What we offer

• Day or late shift (7 am‑3 pm or 3 pm‑11 pm, Monday‑Friday).
• Hourly rate £18.00 – £19.23, dependent on experience.
• Full‑time, temporary contract.
