Telesales Representative – Acton Branch

About the role

Lawsons is seeking a motivated Telesales Representative to join its Acton branch. This full‑time, office‑based position focuses on generating sales and delivering exceptional customer service through telephone and digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to existing and prospective customers to promote products, convert leads and create sales opportunities.
• Handle inbound enquiries, provide accurate product information and recommend suitable solutions.
• Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
• Maintain detailed records of all interactions, sales activity and follow‑ups in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with branch colleagues to identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities.
• Support marketing campaigns by contacting targeted lists and reporting results.

Required profile

• Previous telesales, inside sales or customer service experience in a builders merchant, building supplies or related B2B environment.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and working to KPI metrics.
• Excellent telephone manner, strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach.
• Confident negotiator with good commercial awareness.
• Ability to work well within a team and manage time effectively in a busy environment.

Required skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM systems and accurate record‑keeping.
