About the role
This is a temporary, self‑employed driver position based in Mitcham, covering the London area for the month of August. You will operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle, delivering construction materials such as pipes and panels.
Key responsibilities
- Drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle on scheduled routes from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays, with occasional Saturday shifts (7 am‑1 pm).
- Load and unload goods at the yard and various construction sites.
- Update stock movements in the client’s electronic system.
Required profile
- Previous delivery experience, preferably within the construction sector.
- Physically fit to handle manual loading and unloading.
- Ability to work as a self‑employed contractor.
Required skills
- Forklift licence (advantageous).
- Basic computer proficiency for stock entry.
