Temporary Finance Assistant – Part‑time (20 hrs/week)

About the role

This is a temporary, part‑time Finance Assistant position based in Poole. You will join a friendly finance team and provide day‑to‑day administrative support to keep financial records accurate and up‑to‑date.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with the purchase ledger, matching and processing supplier invoices.
• Raise sales invoices and support the invoicing process.
• Maintain financial records using Sage 50.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice queries.
• Perform general finance administration and filing.
• Support the wider finance team with ad‑hoc administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Organised and reliable with a keen eye for detail.
• Previous experience as a Finance Assistant or Finance Administrator.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Good organisational abilities and attention to detail.
