Theatre Scrub Nurse/ODP – Orthopaedics (Full‑time)

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Theatre Scrub Practitioner at The Yorkshire Clinic Private Hospital in Bingley. You will join a multidisciplinary theatre team delivering orthopaedic and other surgical specialties.

Key responsibilities

• Provide scrub nursing/ODP support throughout the peri‑operative phase for orthopaedic and mixed‑specialty cases.
• Collaborate with consultants, nurses and allied staff to maintain a safe, effective and well‑led theatre environment.
• Monitor and report on quality standards, identify risks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance frameworks and relevant legal/professional standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and utilise hospital IT systems for patient and theatre data.

Required profile

• Current registration with the NMC or HCPC (ODP qualification).
• Proven experience in a similar acute surgical setting.
• Strong clinical background in surgical care and excellent organisational abilities.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
