Trade Marketing Executive

About the role

Our client is a product sourcing company and supplier to retail, experiencing continued growth and seeking a Trade Marketing Executive to join their marketing team in Wigan. The role supports a portfolio of well‑known global consumer brands, working closely with internal and external trade‑marketing stakeholders, sales, brand managers and the creative team.

Key responsibilities

• Be a primary point of contact within the company and for external partners on trade marketing initiatives across several well‑known global consumer brands.
• Plan, execute and report on trade marketing activities for a variety of UK retailers, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
• Serve as a brand ambassador, representing the business and its brands professionally in retailer meetings and other relevant forums, building positive relationships with retailers and industry stakeholders.

Required profile

• Educated to Degree level (essential), ideally in Marketing or similar.
• Experience within Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Brand Marketing or Account Management, preferably in FMCG or consumer goods.
• Valid UK driving licence with own transport and confidence to travel independently to various locations.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Commercially aware with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with UK retailers or consumer brands would be advantageous.
