Traffic Marshall & General Labourer

About the role

We are recruiting an experienced Traffic Marshall / Labourer for a major construction project in Reigate, starting on Tuesday 26th October 2027. This long‑term, ongoing role combines overseeing safe vehicle access and traffic flow at the site gates with assisting on general labour tasks during quieter periods. Working hours are Monday‑Friday 7:30 am‑4:30 pm, with a pay rate of £15‑£17 per hour depending on employment type.

Key responsibilities

• Safely guide construction traffic, delivery lorries, and plant vehicles in and out of site gates.
• Control pedestrian access near site entry points and keep public highways clear.
• Log incoming site deliveries and liaise with the Site Manager and gate security.
• Assist with general site labouring duties, material movement, and site tidying during downtime.
• Enforce site traffic management plans and health & safety protocols.

Required profile

• Valid Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Banker Ticket (CPCS, NPORS, or recognized equivalent).
• Valid CSCS Card (Green Labourer card or above).
• Full PPE (high‑vis jacket & trousers, steel toe boots, hard hat, and gloves).
• Previous experience managing busy site entrances and construction traffic.
• Punctual, reliable, and strong communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
