Trainee Paraplanner – up to £35,000 – Hybrid

About the role

This is a hybrid, full‑time trainee position within a well‑established wealth management firm. The role is designed for individuals who want to start a long‑term career in financial planning and gain hands‑on experience while working towards professional qualifications.

Key responsibilities

• Support financial advisers by conducting research and analysis.
• Assist in preparing suitability and recommendation reports.
• Gather and analyse client financial information.
• Liaise with pension, investment and insurance providers.
• Maintain accurate client records and back‑office systems.
• Support ongoing client servicing.
• Develop technical knowledge across pensions, investments, tax planning and protection.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and organisational ability.
• Confident communicator with a professional approach.
• Keen interest in financial planning and wealth management.
• Motivated to learn and develop technical expertise.
• Previous experience in financial services or administration is beneficial but not essential.
