Trainee Teacher – Primary Schools in Southampton

About the role

Prospero Teaching is looking for enthusiastic Trainee Teachers and Newly Qualified Teachers (ECTs) to join primary schools across Southampton. You will work in supportive environments, gaining hands‑on experience in Early Years, KS1 and KS2 classrooms while developing your teaching practice.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver primary lessons and support pupils across Early Years, KS1 and KS2.
• Engage with a variety of school settings through long‑term placements or day‑supply work.
• Participate in CPD sessions covering behaviour management, safeguarding and curriculum support.

Required profile

• Currently completing a PGCE, BA QTS or Schools Direct route, or recently qualified (ECT).
• Passion for primary education and a commitment to inspiring young learners.
• Desire for professional growth within a positive school culture.
