Training Delivery & Support Specialist

About the role

The Training Delivery & Support Specialist will bring learning to life for AA’s Roadside Operations teams. Working from the Patrol Centre and Basingstoke office, you will deliver engaging remote, face‑to‑face and field‑based training while supporting the transformation of Roadside Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver face‑to‑face, virtual and field‑based training programmes that equip colleagues with the skills, knowledge and confidence to perform effectively.
• Support onboarding, induction, refresher and upskilling programmes for customer‑facing staff.
• Ensure all learning activities comply with governance, regulatory and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the Roadside Training Manager and Learning Designers to create, implement and continuously improve learning solutions.
• Embed new ways of working and support transformation initiatives such as the Road Operations of the Future programme.
• Provide coaching, guidance and learning support to colleagues and leaders to build capability.
• Develop and mentor Business Trainers, sharing best practice and raising delivery standards.
• Partner with operational stakeholders to identify performance trends, skills gaps and recommend learning interventions.
• Evaluate learner feedback and training outcomes, using data to drive continuous improvement.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest learning methodologies, technologies and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering remote and face‑to‑face training to operational teams.
• Strong coaching and communication abilities.
• Ability to work closely with training managers and operational stakeholders.
• Commitment to maintaining compliance and quality standards in learning delivery.
