Tramper Driver (Class 1) – HGV1/LGV1 – Eastleigh

About the role

We are seeking experienced Tramper Drivers to join our team in Eastleigh, South East England. You will operate HGV1, LGV1 and Class 1 vehicles, delivering goods to business customers while ensuring safety and punctuality.

Key responsibilities

• Safely drive HGV1, LGV1 and Class 1 vehicles on assigned routes.
• Securely load, transport and unload items, often using a tail‑lift.
• Complete delivery paperwork and digital records accurately.
• Provide courteous customer service at each delivery point.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑shift vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Adhere to traffic laws, company health & safety policies and delivery timeframes.

Required profile

• Clean driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points).
• Valid HGV1, LGV1 and Class 1 licences (CAT C+E).
• Minimum 1 year experience as an HGV driver, preferably with tramper deliveries.
• Availability Monday‑Friday, with occasional night or weekend runs.
