Transport Co-ordinator – Logistics Operations

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Transport Co-ordinator to join our fast‑paced logistics operation in Leeds. You will organise daily delivery schedules, support drivers and ensure a smooth customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily delivery schedules and communicate updates with drivers, depot teams and customers.
• Provide excellent customer service by handling delivery queries and resolving issues.
• Monitor transport performance, including on‑time deliveries, failed drops and KPI reporting.
• Investigate delivery issues, suggest process improvements and support corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate administrative records, compliance documentation and system updates.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety and company procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience in transport, warehouse administration or customer service is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, manage multiple priorities and stay calm under pressure.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused approach with good problem‑solving abilities.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and transport/logistics systems for data and reporting.
