Travel Consultant – Retail Travel Sales

About the role

Join a thriving independent travel agency in Wisbech as a Retail Travel Consultant. You will use your passion for travel to design bespoke holidays, from short getaways to complex multi‑destination itineraries, while building lasting client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Sell a wide range of worldwide travel products, including package and tailor‑made holidays, face‑to‑face.
• Develop and maintain strong repeat‑customer relationships through exceptional service.
• Create bespoke itineraries that match individual client preferences and budgets.
• Handle enquiries via phone, email, social media and in‑person.
• Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a travel agency.
• Proven sales track record with a commercial mindset.
• Passionate about travel and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to multitask.

Required skills

• Familiarity with tour operator reservation systems.
